The third indie music magazine bit the dust and 2008 is not even three months old.
Right in the middle of South by Southwest in Austin, TX, the news arrives that Harp has folded.
Put another log on the Pitchfork fire. Long live Pop Matters!

This was the most unfortunate news over the weekend. Managing editor, Fred Mills, did a great job of doing the unenviable & telling everyone as well as working the party @ SxSW. It was unreal to see the reactions from music fans to other writers & publicists; so many saying that Harp was their favorite print mag.
