You name Nickelodeon Magazine as "an outdated concept for a cable TV network." Not sure what is outdated about a humor and general interest magazine for kids? Or did you just assume that the whole magazine is only about what is on Nickelodeon?

You were too merciful, Reaper. You missed Portfolio. A weird messy creature- overstaffed, overstuffed, no reason for anyone to put down increasingly hard-earned cash to buy it. Don't understand what the Newhouse people are doing these days. They frighten the Newark Star Ledger people half to death about an impending January 5 execution. So more than 400 employees apply for golden parachutes when only 200 or so are ready. But willing to throw good money after bad for this bizarre production. But hope springs eternal. I wait for my favorite December tradition- the New York Post's annual table chart of the Conde Nast holiday luncheon. To see who is in favor with Si Newhouse and who sat in Siberia. Men's Vogue is histoire- I fear that a chill factor will hit the redoubtable Anna Wintour. America may not recover.
