Travel + Leisure Family: RIP November 2007

Travel_and_leisure_familyI was going to submit an article to Travel + Leisure Family about sightseeing with the kids in Hell, but you know, it's far easier to just kill the magazine and bring them down here to show them.

Kids love boat rides especially with cool things to see like this one. I've got some souvenirs for the parents, such as Jane magazine memo pads and Industry Standard desk blotters.

American Express Publishing joined the chorus of "we're strengthening the web site by closing the magazine," an excellent tactic recently employed in a variation by Adweek (well, they just cut back their frequency). With the price of gas, canceled plane flights and all, how many people going to be affording these vacations anyway? Save the paper, American Express!
